That has me wondering....Someone on the VRS forums was having this problem as well. They purged their default flight and then the problem went away.

Rename your Prepar3d v4 Files folder.

The above mentioned folder is located in your User\Documents. It is where all saved flights are usually stored.

Only other option I can think of is a P3D reinstall like doodlebug tried.

Yes, the C310R and the DHC-3T...
Without fps problems...
Just the C310R have a problem if you don't turn on the magnetos from right to left, but not fps issue...
I found also other user here in the forum with the same problems in this 2 aircraft..
It begin to be a while that i'm try to explain all, my config, issue etc.. by email and here..
Reinstalled aircrafts, prepard3d, renamed the files folder etc..
Maybe there are some issue that is necessary to fix..or if it's not possible i'm start thinking to ask for change the Piper twin license with other aircraft or ask a refund..
I would like that aircrafts work well, i love the twin engines, i like it a lot...i hope it can work..i'm trying to wait for a fix..

Reluctant to give up quite yet. Go to your panel folder and open your panel.cfg in note pad. Look for the RealLight gauge reference and comment it out by putting a // in front of it. See if that fixes the low frames.

23 airplanes,
FSUIPC5,
Accu-Feel 2,
Rex Sky Force,
orbx library,
orbx light Global,
orbx Global Pack,
orbx openLC europe,
orbx global trees,
orbx global vector,
toposim europe,
ezca 2 (this is on only from 2 days),
Airport Enhancer HDX,

Clean Prepard3d, than install 1 airplane, the Piper Twin?
It sound not so good......

i'll check it.

I made a try to understand better, i have verifyed with the task manager, the big difference between other aircraft is
the amount of used ram...
i have 8gb of ram, all 8gb are used with this aircraft...with all the other aircraft are used max 5-6 gb and are not light aircraft i can write a list of it.
Also if i turn the texture resolution at 256 x 256...
With all the other i use 4096 x 4096

Now i try with turn off reallight than let you know
