Heading selector jumps in 10 degrees

Post by HappySimming » Sun Sep 09, 2018 10:46 am

Hello!

I'm a happy owner of the Milviz DHC-3T Turbo Otter.

I'm using the latest build and hotfix available on the support forum:

this file: https://www.milviz.com/Online_products/ ... 180816.zip

and

in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=176&t=9874
this file: download/file.php?id=7682 (for my win 10 64 bit - p3dv4.3)

When selecting the heading with the mouse for the autopilot, sometimes it jumps in 10 degrees instead of 1.

The problem is that it keeps jumping in 10 degrees and never resets to 1.

The problem usually happens after a hour or two flying and constantly manually changing the heading with the mouse (wheel or button, happens with both).

If anyone know why and how to fix it in p3d4.3 + win10 + registered version of fsuipc 5 please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Update:

Reloeading the plane doesn't fix the problem, switching to realair turbine duke v2 then switching back to the milviz DHC-3T Turbo Otter fixes the issue.

If someone know a solution please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Update2:

After restarting prepar3d v4.3 I loaded the DHC-3T Turbo Otter, then reloaded the plane and i get the jumps in 10 degrees problem again.

This time i switched to the carenado c185 bush plane then switched back to the DHC-3T Turbo Otter and the problem was fixed.

So there is clearly a pattern here which repeats itself everytime and the fix is to switch to something with a different gauge / panel configuration.

Am i the only one with this issue?

Is there anyone who fly IFR with the DHC-3T Turbo Otter and select, change the heading manually for the whole flight and experience the same problem?

When the heading selector jumps in 10 degrees, the obs course knob also jumps in 10 degrees.

Please help!
Thanks in advance
