Hi all
My Probelm is, that the Nav Nob is frozen an not moving. On the AP some Nobs are not visible or working after a couple phuses.
And at least the plane not following the Nav path wen them 750 is active and the AP setting is right.

Could you please be more descriptive?
Sim platform? (FSX/P3D)
Avionics config? (GTN750+650) - (Wx), etc.
The KAP140 AP works different thant FS/P3D typical autopilots; have you read the manual?

I used NAV/GPS function for default avionics and I'm sure it works here.
Didn't test with 750 but in many situation if it works with default configuration it will work also with 650/750 I suppose.
I'll check it.

There's a Service Pack coming.

Simple questions relating to this.... why dies tge Autopilot have a FD button and no NAV button ?
I found out that the FD button essentially acts as a NAV button.... would it not be better to have an adapted AP for use with the GTN devices ?

Our intention with these types of planes is not to provide you (the end user) with a way to NOT fly the plane.

Otters, Totters and Beavers or what have you, in the bush plane type, do NOT have a fully fledged, over 20,000$ AP. Most don't even have a 430, let alone a 750.

So... this is how it will stay.

But the KAP 140 was released in a number of variant, none of which had a FD button instead of a NAV button.

If you intended us to fly the aircraft, why include an autopilot at all.

Your reasoning "does not compute"...

the AP flies the aircraft instead of you in the minimal way. Not a fully fledged, VERY expensive AP.

FLY THE PLANE not the AP.

Instead, it has a FD button.

Is this intentional, and why is it different to non-GTN configuarations, where the NAV button is present and correct, as it is in your promotional video on Youtube.

Simple question, requiring a simple answer thank you.

Please post a screenshot showing an "FD" button instead of a "NAV" button. The model has one - and only one - mesh and textures for the KAP140 autopilot, so I'd like help in figuring out how this is happening...

Just realised that it is actually the 2D pop up Bill.

The VC is super and fully functional.

When the pop up AP is displayed, the NAV button (bottom row middle-ish, says " FD " !

Hovering over it brings up the correct tooltip "NAV", AND it functions as the NAV button.

Just a little irksome really.

You are correct! The 2d popup bitmap is incorrect with the FD button where the NAV button should be. I never noticed because quite honestly I've never looked at it before!

Like the VC version though, there is only one popup KAP140, so the same FD button should be seen regardless of avionics selections.
