Fatal error
I purchased the Otter last evening, installed it into FSX acceleration. I have been unable to fly the aircraft. FSX has a fatal error every time the aircraft loads. I uninstalled it and ran the installer again with the same result. This is unique to the Turbo Otter.
Anti virus was turned off during installation. Any ideas?

Re: Fatal error
Was it off when you downloaded the product? Is it scanning your sim directory?
Running sim as admin? Ams as admin?

Re: Fatal error
Did you have a WX panel selected? Would help to see the crash report.

Re: Fatal error
I turned the Antivirus off when installing, not downloading. I have never had issues with that in the past that I know of.
I know I am running FSX as admin,
Where the ams says radios I have default selected.
I am not familiar with how to access a crash report

Re: Fatal error
Go to start menu->Search->Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application right after the crash occurs. Error should be right at the top. Select the text, copy it, and paste in your post.

Re: Fatal error
Hi
Please check this post.
That is SP1, latest version. Be sure you dowloaded this one and not a previous version.
XMLTools should not throw an error as it is doing. If you have the proper T.Otter installer then let us know so we can try some options.
Thanks!.
Tomas

Re: Fatal error
I uninstalled installer 180706 that I got with my purchase link and downloaded installer 180730 from the top thread and it seems to have been the solution.
Thanks for the quick response fellows.
Based on my one flight so far the Turbo Otter seems great.
