Its a full build, so this one only (uninstall previous version firstly).

You do not need to uninstall the previous version in this instance , there were no files removed with the new installer , only updates so no reason to clear out the residue .

Is it possible to offer this update as a patch (with much smaller file size)? Downloading the whole installer through this link is a real pain (currently taking 3 to 5 hours).

That is very unusual. What connection do you have?
On a cable connection it takes me about 5 minutes.

Something is wrong with Your connection maybe? It takes for me near 15-20 minutes max.

I actually have a pretty fast connection and downloading the initial installer after purchase was no problem at all. But the above given link seems to be comparably slow or just overloaded.
