Is it Possible To Have only a GTN750 in the VC?

Just a couple quick questions.

I saw over on avsim that a few guys had made a config for either the Beaver or the Otter for having the NAVSTAX units and a single GTN650 in the VC panel... Is the scripting the same or similar on the DHC-3 Turbo Otter? If so, how is it done, I am very familiar with LVARS and panel configs.

Also, is there a way to have only a single GTN750 in the VC without the 650? This plane is already pretty heavy on system resources and I would like to minimize it as much as possible when flying out of urban areas.

These options are listed on the product page but not available in the dropdown menu in the MVAMS for the DHC3T, if my memory serves me correctly.

From the product page:

Flight1 GTN 650 (Single)
Flight1 GTN 750 (Single)
Flight1 GTN 650 & 750 (Combo)

or, standard radios only!

I would also like the simple option of a single GPS and no WX radar...

I have the same request to enable single GTN750 or GTN650 unit as mentioned in the product description. Single units are also much more likely and realistic in this aircraft.

Ok, I did it myself if anyone wants to give it a try. I tried to create a custom console file so that I could select a custom panel config for a single GTN750 in the Milviz MVAMS utility but it wouldn't show up in the drop down menu, therefore I used the default "console_GTN750_650.xml" for a single GTN750.

This is for 1 single GTN 750. Make sure you backup the below files by either zipping them, or simply renaming them with a .OFF extension.

"console_GTN750_650.xml" located in your: "\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\DHC-3 Turbine Otter Milviz\panel\Console" folder.

&

"F1_GTN750_650_Panel.cfg" located in your: "\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\DHC-3 Turbine Otter Milviz\panel\PanelConfigs" Folder.

You can then replace the files you just backed up with the ones I attached in the zip file on this post. Then start up your Milviz MVAMS utility and select "Flight 1 GTN750/650" from the GPS variant drop down menu. Then click "save Defaults".

PS: I din't use the Weather Radar version because I am not running P3D v4.3 yet, I'm still on version 4.2 as I have multiple addons that still need to be updated by the developers.
