GTN750 v6.70 & XP GLJ Model 25 SE v3.0 for Prepar3D® v5

I have come across a problem where I can get the RealityXP Garmin GTN 750 (FltSim) to work in the XP GLJ Model 25 SE v3.0 for Prepar3D® v5 BUT ONLY if I use the offline trainer installation covering v6.62.
If I go via the online installer with V6.70 the plane always displays a completely blank black screen....therefore I cannot risk any updates because of this isssue.
