Exhaust Gas Temperature

Hello to everyone on the forum,

I am new to flying FSX aircraft, and I'm primarily interested in the older jet fighter aircraft. Regarding EGT, is that very accurately modeled in the Milviz aircraft? A fighter pilot had told me that EGT tends to increase when flying at very high altitudes. Will you see the correct rise of EGT in the Milviz aircraft? Will you also be able to damage the engine if max EGT is exceeded for too long?

And, for my first cold war era MIlviz fighter, which one would you suggest I fly first?

Yes EGT is modeled in most, if not all of our aircraft. The F-4 variants are great but has a steep learning curve. T-38A is also great. Both are study level so you will have to spend some time in the manuals.
