engine misfiring / generator

hello, I am sorry for maybe dumb questions ahead:

1
as on my first flights I hear the engine misfiring (I confess that I activated every time the carburetor heat late) and it would not stop, I am asking whether it is possible to fix that misfiring, after the engine start, or if I should restart the engine (I cannot find that in the manual, .... maybe I missed it)

2
the manual talks about a generator switch, under the flight instruments ... :? where is it?

thanks

Hi,

To avoid misfirings, do not exceed 32-35 " MP.
Also mantain Carb Heat between 2 to 8 deg. Celsius.

The generator switch (a CB swiitch actually) is located in a panel behind the copilot's seat. It must be in ON position all the time.
