I'm having a bit of a delma here
1. I can't seem to get the coupler to work at all I've read the manual and pretty much have an idea how it is supposed to work, but it still won't engage.
It also is either in pitch hold or altitude hold one or the other when I turn off altitude hold it will stay in level flight, moving the stick does nothing
2. The ADI has no light at night, and you can't see the needles on several of the gauges including the HSI
The info panel on the right front console is out as well
I'm hoping it's a switch that I can't find
I hope someone can help me with this.....I like flying at night

I believe there is a knob on the left forward console that controls the main flight instruments.
Also you need the attitude hold switch on in order to engage altitude hold. Moving the stick with altitude hold engaged will disengage it. I will have to check manuals to figure out again how the auto land works.

when I disengage the alt hold I can't change the pitch I have to disengage the autopilot master change the pitch then re engage the autopilot master.
also I can't seem to get the coupler to work
I'll look around for that switch
Thanks

Not quite. That’s the E cockpit. Captthud is using the J/S.

I map all my controls through FSUIPC

That might be part of the problem. How does your FSUIPC profile look? There is a specific way it needs to be handled in order for it to function correctly.

It's just the basic flight controls nothing else no specific profile, the basic flight controls are setup through FSUIPC and then I turn off controllers on the options page in settings

it goes direct to FSUIPC
I use a x55 that has seen better days, but it works good.....rusty but trusty.....
I use profiles for type aircraft,SEL,MEL, 4 engine jet, ect, and specific aircraft, LEAR 35, F-14, ect
I tried it with the Jstick enabled and with a new FSUIPC ini.....just removed the ini from the modules folder.....no joy
