Hello,

I have problems with jettison :
I can not selectively jettison external fuel tanks (and bombs or missiles), only all of them with the emergency jettison.

I tried to follow the instructions given here

but :

- for tanks at outboard stations, the EXT TANK Jett guarded switch does not work, the guard cover opens but the switch it is not moving.
- for central tank, as exlained in the cited post, I have Bomb Control switch to DIRECT, Center station guarded switch to READY, WPNS switch to CONV OFF/NUCL, but nothig happen when I press the bomb release button.

And with emergency jettison, all station are dropped, no matter what is the position of the Jettison Select switch (in AIR-GRD, the center tank and bombs should not be jettisoned as far as I understand).

I lso tried to selectively jettison missiles with the missile jettison knob, and no luck neither...

Any help would be appreciated

Is this with TACPACK?

yes it is with Tacpack.

And by bomb release you mean the TACPACK pickle button?

The bomb release was first set in TACPACK only (pickle button), and as it did not work I have set it up additionally in MVAM key binding.
So now it is set in both MVAM amd TACPACK (and it still do not work).

But the bomb release is only used for the center tank if I am not mistaken, this would not explain the outboard station not being jettisoned, and the EXT TANK Jett switch not moving?

I will need to refresh myself on this. Are you able to at least drop bombs live with the pickle button?

Yes I can drop bombs with the pickle button (as weapons, they explode when hitting the ground).

If I recall, the primary method of jettison is to drop them with safed fuses.

Ok, thanks, that´s for selectively jettisoning bombs then. I´ll try that.
But I still can not selectively jettison tanks and missiles.
Can you confirm that the EXT TANK Jett switch is not working?
And that the position of the Jettison Select switch (either AIR-GRD, ALL or AIR-GRD+CL) has no effect on the emergency jettison (while according to the previous post it should)?
By the way that is with P3DV4.5 hotfix1, in the latest version of the F4S.
