ILS capability
Hello,
I bought the J/S version also for its ILS cabability (I thought so) …
So, my question is: is the J or the S able to show a normal airport ILS?
Or does it just work with carriers?
I set a ILS frequency of an airport in the ACM before start but was not able to get it working
many thanks

Re: ILS capability
I think I limited it to TACPACK carriers but can’t recall. Will check.

Re: ILS capability
I'm somehow unsure what now about the ILS cabability of the J/S
Read a lot and found even a thread with pictures where the J/S is flying an ILS (not at carriers), but I'm not able to do that.
Do I do anything wrong or is sth. broken?
I bought the J/S additional to the E variant to have the ILS cabability which I missed very much on the "E". Hope to get it working with your assistance in the J/S.
Many thanks

Re: ILS capability
Ok it does support airport ILS as well. Here is something you can try.
Once you have entered the ILS data in the MVAMS and saved it, left click the ILS channel selection until it is at the lowest channel (channel 1). Then count your right clicks as you click it around until you get the desired channel. The selector can be a bit ambiguous as to which channel you are actually on. Make sure the power switch is also on, and your HSI mode knob is in the correct position.

I don't know what I have missed in former attempts!
Thanks for your support!
