Speed brakes
I have switched from a button on my throttle to a slider on the same to control the speed brakes.
It works great on aircraft like the F-86 and T-38 but not on either F-4.
All instruments indicate normal and the instructor mode does not indicate any failure.
I can extend the brakes with the button and then move the slider and the brakes retract but that is it.
I then deleted my keyboard and button assignments, leaving just the slider but it does not do anything.
Is there a way around this?
I am using FSX acceleration

Re: Speed brakes
When you say a slider do you mean an axis? If so, axis commands are not supported for the speedbrake. There are Inc/Dec options for the speedbrake in the MVAMS however.

Re: Speed brakes
Yes, sorry, I meant setting the slider as the speed brake axis. I was trying to free up a button since I am out of free ones on the joystick, throttle.
Thanks for the quick response, William

The AMS does support modifier keys which you can press on your keyboard at the same time that you press a button so you can make one button do multiple things.
