Fuel Tank issues
Hi All,
I have just purchased the Corsair for FS2020/MSFS2020 and would like to fly without the fuel tank fitted. In the weight and payload page I have put the external 1 & 2 options down to 0 and also the Centre 3 down to 0 but the fuel tanks remain on the aircraft. I have done this whilst in game and prior to loading the game up to fly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ?
Kind Regards
Ryan

Re: Fuel Tank issues
Pull out the new map board while on ground, in there you can manage loadout.

Re: Fuel Tank issues
setting them to zero empties the tanks, but they will still be present. to clear them from under the plane you clear the boxes in the table under the instrument panel. This will only be available on the ground.

So from my understanding the drop tanks can only be removed/jettisoned when on the ground through the load out manager and not whilst flying yes? The in cockpit jettison function does not appear to work for me or only for the center tank if I remember correctly.

To add/remove the drop tanks yes you need to be on ground as part of preflight but they should be able to be jettisoned whist in the air using the relevant controls in the aircraft.
