MD530PBF turbine won't return to full RPM after throttle reduction
I'm starting to practice auto-rotations, and reduce the throttle completely to start, using the collective and cyclic to control descent and recover.
But, once I'm safely on the ground again, when I increase the throttle to full again, the engine only increases to about 50% rotation. What am I missing? I've calibrated the controls (Maxflightstick) several times. Re-setting the scenario (I like to start "ready to fly") brings the turbine back up to 100%.

I recall something about automixture setting in the sim, can you please check that it is turned off and that you don't have an axis for mixture setup on this aircraft? You should be able to rotate the throttle with your scroll wheel on your mouse. If you try that does it go back to full RPM?

The Automixture box was unchecked, and I made sure no axes were assigned to Mixture at all.
Next guess?
Also, while we're working on this in general, I'm having trouble assigning the collective "start" switch (P3D V4.5 HF3). Should I use "Engine 1 Start", or, "All Engines Start". Neither seems to work. I'm just working from the P3D printout of generic key assignments. Is there something different for 530?

I never got a satisfactory answer to this one; and, I've recently purchased the 407 sim, and it's doing the same thing. I.e., after I reduce the throttle to practice an auto, the engine won't return to full rpm again. WTH?!?

I believe in MVAMS there are mappings for Governor RPM increase and decrease? I can't remember 100% as we have a lot of versions of this bird but it is in our mil version. I also think the starter switch you were looking for is in the MVAMS as well.

I replied in part to this one in my previous (new) posting about these Collective issues with both your 407 and 530 products.
There's nothing that I can see in MVAMS to map any of the Collective controls - axis or button. The twist grip does map properly in P3D V4.5 as Prop. But, there's no place to adjust for the location in the twist range for Ground Idle and Cutoff. Further, there's no place to map the Governor Settings (Up or Down), nor even Engine Start - the Engine Start button assignment in P3D doesn't work.

I cannot duplicate this behavior. I've tried adjusting the axis with the propeller axis. sensitivity set to 127 and 0 deadzone.
I can adjust it with a mouse or axis and it comes back fine.
Regarding the starter switch. It must be done via the VC.
