'Shoulda'
Well, I bought the Milviz Standard Otter because I have lots of hours and great memories flying the 'Real' A/C.
Unfortunately, I have to say I'm disappointed in it.
Why ?
What's with the "black Square" on the panel ? It's not even centred properly over where the missing gauge apparently was located.
Where did you come up with that "Artificial Horizon Gauge" ? In all my years of flying, I've never seen that one + it's horrible !
There's other 'Issues', but 'Long-Story-Short'... Maybe I 'Shoulda' bought the Turbo version ?
Ce La Vie !

Re: 'Shoulda'
Most otters out there have been modified. You'd be hard pressed to find 2 aircraft with the same panel setup. We did have a real Otter pilot on the beta team if memory serves. I can't tell you why the panels are the way they are as I was not part of that decision. As for the block off plate - I've seen pics of several Otters where the instruments are not perfectly lined up in that spot. What may have been there I can't say.
