Thx for the responses
Changing 1B to 18 seems to have resolved the problem for the straight model.
Unfortunately the same fix does not help the Amphibian, Ski and Float models.
Problem appears worse.
Getting a little frustrating this!
Once again thx for the responses so far.
cheers

Check the RealLight folders in those models as well?

Sorry if I wasn't clear - I applied the same fix to all the other models with no luck.
Happy to post the directories again if you need.
thx

Here they are from the ski variant.

OK thx and seems to have done the trick.
Is this a problem ongoing?
I sure hope not.
Once again thx.

Only saw this now after having tried the Twin Comanche in P3D 4.5 hotfix 2. It stated the problem with RealLight, so I thought I better remove it by deinstalling and reinstalling the aircraft. Bad idea, now if I try to load the aircraft the entire sim crashes. However, I re-downloaded the installer and it turns out that a slightly never version was available. This did the trick, it is working fine again (although FPS is for odd reasons still very low at least when it rains).

I deleted all the x2 and 1B files in all variants of the DHC-3 Turbo, and upon loading the aircraft I got one warning (instead of multiple, which happened before the deletion of the aforementioned files), the aircraft was loaded but I wasn't able to operate the engine start procedure nor could I seem to move the engine thrust lever, and P3D4 crashed to desktop shortly after

I think we will have to wait for an official update/fix on this, hopefully soon!

thanks

No final fix in sight? After four(!) months of problem reports?
This is very disappointing for a new customer (Turbo Otter).

Please be patient. We will get to it.
In the meantime, it is a relatively easy problem for a user to fix.

Issues connected with control levers and gauges are unrelated and most likely caused by a bad XMLTools install.

easy to fix? how?

I deleted the 1B file / renamed it to 18 which fixed the "normal" TwinOtter but "amphibian" and other still giving multiple error messages.
