DHC-3T: No sounds

Post by qqwertzde » Sat Feb 16, 2019 12:42 pm

Hello,

yesterday,I purchased the Turbo Otter, but I am running into a problem: the airplane has no sounds whatsoever (engine, click sounds, ...). I went through your support ticket system (see below) but was unable to resolve the issue. I am not using a dedicated Anti-Virus program, only Windows Defender, which has never caused an issue. I noticed that the Visual C++ 2015 library was missing in the list of installed software on my PC, but when I tried to install it, a popup window claimed that another version of the software was already installed. I can see 2005, 2008,2010, 2012 and 2017 redistributables in my software list.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Best regards,
Peter

OK, solved it. On default sound settings, the Milviz sounds (not any other airplanes or the environment) were so quiet that I didn't notice them until I turned my master PC volume to max. Putting all sound sliders in MVAMS to max resolved the issue.
