DHC-3 Otter weather radar not working

I have downloaded the latest REX WX weather radar as I am running P3dv4.4. However I cannot get the weather radar in the DHC-3 Otter to work even though its visible on the cockpit panel and the drop down menu.
I loaded REX WX weather radar under a different directory to P3d, where the Milviz Otter is loaded.
What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by loading the WX under a different directory to P3D? The gauge dll should be in your sim directory\Gauges.

I have attached a snapshot of my File Explorer.

I can see the Weather Radar on my cockpit panel but I don't see it when I select "instruments" in the P3d drop down menu

That's a different issue. The 2D panel entry hasn't been made. You might have to do that with REX's Gauge install tool.
