F-4J\S Advanced CTD on engine start

F-4J\S Advanced CTD on engine start
Just purchased F-4J\S Advanced (from Just Flight), installed with A/V paused, Defender ignoring install directory, as Admin - followed the troubleshooting guide but seeing the following:
load mission to different aircraft (cold and dark)
MVAMS set to Cold and Dark
connect GPU, set engine masters to ON and hear immediate airflow noise (almost like engines running)
set Gen to EXT, systems power on and lights work
set GPU to airflow and right engine starts to turn immediately
right click on right throttle at 10% RPM and sim hangs with CTD 5-8 seconds later(although engine spool sounds continue until CTD the RPM stops at 10-11%)
attempted ctrl-e autostart, no start
attempted switch from running aircraft on ground to F-4, engines spun down
attempted to switch from a flying aircraft to F-4, engines spun down and would not light
