Hi! I have a problem whit my F-4E. It does not matter if I use "Cold and dark" or "ready to fly" in MVAMS. The issue: When I start taxi from parking to runway both or one engine turns off and the fuel suddenly drops from 100% to zero.

he is asking our engine coding specialist (Alvaro) to investigate for you

What installer versions are you using?
Are you using ADV or TacPack + ADV?
Also, how do you know the fuel drops to 0?...you see it in the AMS fuel bar or in the cockpit indicators. If the last, it would just be the fuel indicators deenergized with a dual flameout..
Finally, if you completely disable wind... Does the issue occur?

Thank´s for your response! I Use Adv+Tacpack version 1.8 02 21 but I do not use TacPack. I have it installed but it is not in use. I observe ful drop in the cockpit gauge. I do not know about AMS. The issue is not always there. Sometimes the engine works fine. Do you mean the weather "wind"? I use AS+ASCA.

Press Shift+Z twice to bring up the red text at the top of the sim. You will see the fuel percentage there. Does it drop to 0 on flameout?

Yes.
Disable any weather and select a clean day. Check if the problem persists.

Hi, Alvaro! I have not turn off the weather but suddenly, today, everything works just fine again and I do not know why. Thank´s for your help! I guess the issue will com back sooner or later and when it does I will come back to you

Hmmm, I just yesterday encountered the same problem, with all F-4 models (E/J/S, ADV + TacPack). Never had it before. I get ready to go fly, and as I throttle up for take-off or even taxi, suddenly one or both engines just dies on me. I haven't really done much to my P3Dv4.2 lately, and I've previously run the aircraft with the modifications and add-ons that I have. Installed some new ORBX and Aerosoft scenery lately, but nothing more than that.
Using AS4 + REX SF3D.
Tried reloading aircraft, but while the scenario starts with both engines running (when I so choose), as soon as I throttle up, they die.

Does the problem happen if you completely disable your custom weather (AS4)?. Please, check if the engines flameout can be replicated in "clear skies" condition.

I'll check as soon as I can.
But I've never had that issue with the F-4s and AS4 before, been using them alongside each other for several months without any issues.
But, I'll check.

Ok, I've done a bit of testing here now.
First test was same airbase, same aircraft livery (F-4E ADV Edvards Test), same route etc etc, as when the issue was first observed. But this time without AS4 and REX SF3D. No issues, aircraft flew as awesome as it always has. Engines/throttle worked flawlessly.
Second test, same as above, but this time WITH AS4 and REX SF3D enabled, and AS4 weather selected in scenario...
Result was no issues whatsoever, throttle/engines worked as they always have. I had ONE minor right engine RPM drop, but I attribute that to some "enthusiastic" low-speed, high AOA maneuvering...and engine dropped just for a couple of seconds, then spooled up to normal levels again. All good.
Only thing that was different was that I forgot to put power on the RWR display, so did that after takeoff.
So, what happened here?

Probably a strong crosswind was the cause (and surely the flameout happened during a high speed taxi turn)
Custom weather engines sometimes inject exaggerated (and unrealistic) effects. I have never experienced those kind of xwind induced flameouts during the development (AS/ REX Sky Force weather engines here). Actually I pushed the engines stall margin limits further in order to avoid unrealistic behaviours.
My suggestion is to reduce/smooth turbulence intensity and all similar options in the external application that could depict "realistic" (...hurricane like) conditions.
On my side, I will carry out more testing as a new version with some additional fixes is planned. However, don't hold your breath...we're busy with the F-15C now and the patch will have to wait at least until the Eagle released and run-in.

I'll have a look at my settings, and see if I can tweak it a bit
Now that I know that it isn't really my install that is borked somehow, I'll happily look at my settings. It's a fact of life that I sometimes get some weird weather, so I'm sure it is related to the weather-modules.
And to be perfectly honest, your F-15C can't come soon enough, so I'm definitely not gonna nag yall with stuff that I can fix (even temporarily) at my end
Oh yes....it will be mine
