No DT ACM [resolved]

Post by go2peter » Tue Mar 20, 2018 10:04 pm

I originally installed the F-4 E basic installation ... got CDT until I updated P3d from ver 4.1 to ver 4.2
I have also used up 3 downloads out of the 9 available getting to this stage!

I already fly the F100D, so to kick off I tried to initiate the F-4E with engines running. OK, it flies and responds like the F100D, however I cannot bring up the ACM ... when I do Shift-1, I get a blank page. I assume that the DT ACM page allows me to fuel up etc. So for these starter flights, my fuel guage shows zeros. (I also loose all DC supply after 20 mins flight ... Battery low??... (this may resolve during my learning curve).

I have searched P3d - Sim Objects - but cannot find the file "Documents - "DT ACM" there ... or any reference in the computer files to DT-ACM.

What to Do ????

Win 10 Pro,
P3D ver 4.2
ORBX scenery.

One thing at a time. Don't worry about the downloads. We can reset those on request.

Lets start with the ACM. I take it you haven't installed the ADV version yet? There was a bug on release of the latest standard version which accidentally disabled the ACM. The fix is here: http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=8904

Secondly, the desktop ACM was replaced by the AMS system. It doesn't control your fuel levels. It is only for choosing start up state and control configurations and some other misc config options.

The loadout manager which is in game is what you would use to set fuel and will be available once you follow the directions in the above link.

Question resolved, thanks Jonathan. Yes, I have bought "the Bundle" but only intalled the basic aircraft. No doubt more quiry topics to come!

Thanks again for your prompt reply.
