Two Gaps.

Hey! How do you fold the two gaps underneath the airplane? They are located near the speed brake units. What do these two gaps have for function?

When you’re on the ground those two panels are open all the time. They are for cooling the ringtones. They cannot be closed. Once gear goes up, so do the panels.

Thank´s for the information! I have another concern. The engines stop without warning and the aircraft goes to cold and dark status. The problem occurs approximately 4 minutes after starting.

both engines are running? You turned on the gens? Followed the manual/video exactly? Moved throttles forward? etc?

Yes, both engine starts by the book and the generators are on. I have start up the F 4E about 25 times before, without complications but yesterday they turn off for no reason. I have no created failure programmed.

So... do they turn off every time now?

Because if they did it only one time, it's likely you missed something....

Do you have any special hardware assignments? Anything you set in the AMS?

If you have the realism bar at any position other than full left and you have realistic systems, engines, etc...selected, then it could be a random failure, not a programmed one.
