CTD when "Flightplan Menu" select

Post by Guenseli » Tue Sep 05, 2017 9:32 pm

Hello,

I have a 100% CTD when I want to open the "Flightplan Menu" from the addons menu ("F4EADV Configuration Menu")

My system is Win10 64 bit (all updates), latest Grafic driver. P3D v4
MilViz F-4E Phantom II ADV vA1.170830_EADV
MilViz F-4E Phantom II vA1.170721_E

Ufortunately I can't give you any logs from windows as there is no crash log written after that CTD.
The crash happens as soon as I press "Flightplan Menu".
It doesn't matter if the F4 is powered or not, or if a flightplan is loaded or not.

Many thanks for support!
Günter

It seems in generel I have a problem with flightplan/TGT2.

As far as I know I load/acitvate a flightplan into P3Dv4 and this is then used with TGT2!?
I have tried now everything and can'T get that TGT2 work according to my FP

TGT1 (manual entered coordinates) do work, but not the FP stuff.

What do I miss here?

We do not, afaik, support flight plans. I believe, though I am sure I will be corrected if wrong, that you have to do it manually... just like the real deal..

Thanks for answering!

Sorry, I do not understand then ...

Flightplan or not, there's menu entry ""Flightplan Menu"" which causes a CTD.
According to the manual, I should load/activate a flightplan and select the appropiate wayppoint in this menu.

and I'm referring to answers like this:

many thanks

Yes I did design the system to support flightplans. I will be investigating further since it appears something changed in v4.

Not yet. Sorry but though this is on the to do list, it's not a super high priority item.

The changes made in v4 were (are) many and varied and we're not aware of them all... these things take time.

Actually I put a temporary fix out through the updater in the AMS. Open the AMS, select the F-4E, and it should ask if you wish to update.

Great, thanks for the reply...

Unfortunately I do not get an update via the MVAMS ...
Anything I could do?

Please go to your AMS location/Configurations/F4E and zip the files in it. Upload the zip here.
