ILS For The E's
Just curious if any one out there has installed a freeware or after-market ILS radio/gauge in the E? I see several out there but not sure if it would work in this aircraft.

Given how the E's instruments are connected to its systems, it is not possible for a 3rd party to add an ILS to it.

Even if it's a stand-alone radio and gauge?

A 2D popup maybe (but then it will have to be tied to NAV2 for the ILS, since NAV1 is already used by the TACAN), but not in the VC.

Got it. Not really a big deal but thought it would be kinda' nice to have if possible. In either case I've gotten pretty proficient shooting VOR approaches lately.
