I believe FSPilotShop will renew your downloads for a small fee (5 bucks I think)

Ughhh! $29.90  Oh well...I will keep tinkering with permissions in the F-4E folder and maybe I will fix it.

Word to the wise; backup often.

Hi guys, its me, the originator of the thread. My computer is back from the fixers and I've uninstalled and reloaded and still the problem persists. Does not anyone else have this problem? Is it only me?

You remembered to do this?

Thanks Jonathan. Yes I did, and I also tried the SAS switches and that was ok. I did exactly the same as before.

Just one other curiosity, you did install the F-4E into the P3D directory? Ie you are not making use of P3D's addon.xml to place it somewhere other than P3D's directory?

Whoopie! All is well. I had a total root and branch uninstall of P3D as well as the F4. Went into regedit so as to get everything and whatever bug it was that was giving the headache has gone. Thanks for both your perseverance.

Neil.

Hello All,
After upgrading from Tacpacked Base F-4E to ADV I'm having the same issue as originally reported by NeilG and can't resolve it (The base F-4 took off fine). There's gotta be another way other than resorting to the
...a total root and branch uninstall of P3D as well as the F4. Went into regedit so as to get everything and whatever bug it was that was giving the headache has gone.
method. I'm glad it worked out for NeilG.

This is a great jet (looks great, sounds great, taxis great, and "feels" great). I just can't take off properly now. Any other ideas since earlier this month?

Running:
- P3D V3.4 (trims (2 units nose down per MILVIZ Vid) and flaps set properly)
- the latest updates for each installer (through MVAMS)
- Registered FSUIPC (no conflicts in P3D Controls) or with MVAMS
- Everything as Admin
- AS16, EZCA v2, TRACKIR 5, and FTX Global Vector

Try to disable EZdok v2
EZDOK V2 is the culprit. Now I just need to figure out how to disable EZDOK (don't want to uninstall) while keeping TRACKIR going.

Thanks. Neal
