Very Poor Performance

Hey guys,

I finally got my 310R working nice and have it set up with my GTN750. Problem is, unlike all of my other aircraft that I pair with my GTN, the 310R suffers from 10-20 FPS drop in performance for no particular reason.

A2A C172: 50-60 FPS
Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended: 45-50 FPS
Stock Aircraft: 60-70 FPS
Milviz C310 Redux: 20-30 FPS.

With FPS drops into 20s it's really hard to use my TrackIR and also very difficult to use the 750 because with low FPS most clicks are not detected.

I haven't seen a single thread or mention of the C310 having a huge performance impact on other people's sims and was wondering if there is possibly something wrong with mine.

Win 7: all updates
All C++ redists
Installed as per instructions.
No Estonia Migration Tool.

Video card drivers are up to date.

i5 6600K 3.7ghz

P3D 3.4 all updates, installed on SSD.

Your video card is right on the edge of not being able to run it at all...

Interesting. It's DX11 and has twice the amount of recommended VRAM. I viewed that as more than enough as far as the system requirements were written.

You're saying it's not enough?

Those recommendations are the absolute minimums.

Are you running any sceneries?

Accusim?

I run accusim for the aircraft that I have which have it. No problems. Run a few orbx regions.

It sounds like it is what it is, but it just isn't as bad of an issue for all of my other GA aircraft.

The redux is MUCH higher quality than any of those other products and is therefore a bigger user of resources.

Suggest you disable accufeel if you have it? Sorry. Wrong term.

I suspect more than likely it is the texture size being too high in this case. @KC do we have a lower size texture package?

As I've been looking around the cockpit on this first flight since getting everything working (lights, fuel flow) I am now seeing those textures. Beautiful job. I might honestly live with the low framerate in order to keep the clarity, but if you have a lower res option I'd love to give it a try.

Thanks for all the help so far.
