Asking too much?

Really enjoy this plane but
Have 750,650 and WX loaded
CTDs seem to occur especially with rainy scenarios
P3Dv4.2,GTX 1060 6GB,16GB DDR4 3000,Win 10 and i7-8700K Coffee Lake
(Waiting to go to P3Dv4.3 when WX upgraded
Am I asking too much of my system?
A shame if this is the case as this is such a fine plane to fly low and slow in bad weather
