Uninstall old C310 before installing C310 Redux?

Hi,

I had the old C310 installed when installing the Redux. Weird things happened then. GPS, autopilot and other gauges were not shown in the cockpit. And there was no entry to choose the old C310 anymore in P3D V4.2.

I run the uninstaller for the Redux AND the uninstaller for the old C310 then. Which seemed to solve the problem, after reinstalling the Redux.

Questions: To be sure that this leads not to other issues not detected so far: Is this the correct procedure to get a clean uninstall of the old C310? I did not run P3D after uninstall and before reinstall. Is this OK?

Hi Rudi, The two models were designed to work together but in some instances they don't. this will be addressed in the service pack.

As a general rule of thumb it is always a good idea to do a clean install, unless otherwise advised.

I would like to uninstall both the original and the Redux 310R and reinstall the Redux.

My issues are: Radar will not turn on, No sound for auto pilot off, and door seal. Other sounds are okay, flaps, landing gear, stall warning all work.

Also, all three trim wheels are white. Is that the color they should be or is that another issue?

I cannot find an uninstall. Please give me some directions on uninstalling both airplanes and any guidance that might be helpful for the reinstall.

To uninstall,
1. run the latest installer specific to your model
2. select the sims in which the model is installed (very important)
3. select the yellow highlighted 'uninstall' option
4. click next

That removed the Redux. How do I uninstall the original one?

The same method should work for both models.
To remove the original one, you should be able to use the original installer.

For me it seemed to work, that means aircraft folder in SimObjects/Airplanes was deleted afterwards.
