GNT 750 & Throttle Sound
Hello,
I have searched for my particular problem, and unless I have missed it could not find anything. I have the GTN 750 and 650 installed in my new 310, and the 650 is able to be used by clicking on the screen and buttons while in the panel, but the 740 has to be "clicked out" in order to use it, especially the screen of the GPS unit. The second issue I noticed was that the throttle sound does not decrease as I decrease the throttle, though the gauges show that it is decreasing, and airspeed comes down. Eventually the sound decreases, but not right away. Any fixes/suggestions for these?
Thanks,

Hi,
Regarding the sound its not a bug. Milviz just reflects the correct behavior of a constant speed prop. The prop is a hydraulic driven constant speed prop like mentioned in the Docs: [...] Constant speed, full feathering, nonreversible hydraulically actuated. [...]
More technical details can be found here for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constant-speed_propeller
Cheers

Seeing as most people seem to be having no issues with the GTN 750 working, I'd recommend that you check your F1 settings closely.

Thanks for the reply and explanation on throttle, still can't find why the GTN 750 doesn't work in panel mode, but the 650 does. Anyone else that might have experienced this issue, please provide some information.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: GNT 750 & Throttle Sound
I'd love to help, but I just now installed both the GTN and GNS "Whole" version in P3Dv4.2 only to find that this version is supported yet (apparently)... In any case I just got the GNS SDK a few days ago and got all of the buttons and knobs tagged in the model now.

I'm also having problems with F1 GTN750 in VC, no mouse clicks fsx-se, works only in pop up. The GTN750 works ok in A2A aircraft.
Missions I get a popup saying unable to initiate aircraft C 310r N5077J.

Re: GNT 750 & Throttle Sound
The F1 GTN750 and 650 are now working perfectly in P3Dv4.2 (and all other sim versions supported). A service release with this and many, many other minor fixes will be forthcoming when thoroughly vetted by the staff and team members.

The Home and DTK buttons do work, after a fashion. I've found that I need to click them several times in quick succession before they will respond. The sim simply isn't recognizing a single quick click, at least not always.
We are using the XML scripts supplied by Flight1, so I'm confident that there is nothing we can do to mitigate this.

Re: GNT 750 & Throttle Soun
I have the same symptoms on multiple aircraft from different companies. I agree there is nothing Milviz can do to mitigate this. This has been brought up on Flight 1 forums and has been noted but no solutions for customers. There has to be something up with XML scripts they're providing.N4GIX wrote:The Home and DTK buttons do work, after a fashion. Click spots. F1GTN750 no click spots on screen though no problems with popup . I've just update to GTN complete, and now if I select GTN650 (2) the right hand gauge works fine but the one in the centre of the panel I get no click spots. Legacy is set to 1, cores set auto.

Re: GNT 750 & Throttle Sound
I've just tested the GTN750/650 in P3Dv4.2 and both units are functioning correctly, aside from the HOME and DTK buttons that are sometimes unresponsive except for rapid clicking...
