CTD when WX selected with HiFi AS4 6641 build

Is there a possible conflict with the REX/MV WX radar or AS4 6641 build? I have the REX/MV radar disabled in my DLL.XML .. when I have the C310R redux set to F1 750/650/WX via MVAMs ... with AS4 6641 running, it works fine for about 4-5 minutes then will CTD with no logs or OS event log errors ... nothing at all which is a shame.
If I set C310R to F1 750/650 (or any option that doesn't include the WX) via MVAMs, then no CTD.
Thoughts - HiFi issue or MV WX issue?
Cheers, Rob.

I have the same issue with the RXP 530/430 and the Weather Radar. Fine without the Radar, crashes after 5 minutes with the radar.

ASN has an issue with the WX. We're looking at this. Switch to REX... better weather

Actually there shouldn't be issues as far as I know. What simulators are you two running?

Go to your sim directory and right click on the sim1.dll. Go to Properties->Details and tell me the version number please.

I'll chime in and also state that my sim also crashes when I have WX selected with the 750/430 combo in MVAMS, during the loading process after in-game aircraft selection.

When reporting such crashes I need:
1: the sim you are running
2: the version number of the sim1.dll in your sim directory.
Without those, a crash report is absolutely useless.

I'm running AS4 6641 build too but having no issues. What I encountered in the very beginning is that I got instant CTDs when trying to load up a flight with a whatever WX layout choosen. I installed the single full version of the WX again and after that I had no issues anymore. So perhaps somethings missing with the inbuilt WX coming with the redux installer. Just an idea.

Are you running P3D v4.1? The aircraft locked WX released with the 310Redux is for v4.2 only, while REX has not released the full v4.2 version yet. That would be why installing the full version solves the crash for you.

Indeed it is... the funny thing is all working fine for me in v4.1 including trueglass and reallight

But as Colin reminded me several times now to update I will do it... promised

Hi Johathan,
Sorry for delay in response, got swamped ... I'm running P3D V4.2 with HiFi AS4 latest very recent build (within the past few days) 6641.
Cheers, Rob.

@Rob can you confirm you do not have a MV_WX.dll in the main gauges folder? LM changed the folder priority for gauge loading from the panel to the gauges folder. Since REX hasn't released the full WX for v4.2 yet, chances are if you have it, it is trying to load the v4.1 WX instead. If you rename the MV_WX.dll in your gauges folder, it should start working.

I'll check the MV_WX.DLL tonight and report back ... many thanks for the suggestion/support.
Cheers, Rob.
