Fuel System // De-Ice System Issues
First off a word of thanks for updating the C310, and for extending the update at a discount to those of us who recently purchased the original version. The user manual is excellent.
Fuel System: When I load the aircraft (engines running, not cold and dark) my fuel gauges read 'zero'. Placing the toggle switch up or down shows a correct quantity for the selected fuel location - either the main or aux tanks. Looking down at the fuel selector switches, both are in the 'OFF' position so the gauges appear to be working correctly. I guess the correct question is why are the engines able to run if there is no source of fuel selected?
De-Ice: In icing conditions both engines will lose power, slowly spool down towards idle unless I turn on the Windshield De-Ice (alcohol system). Pitot Heat On, Prop De-Ice On, Surface De-Ice on as well. Selecting the Windshield De-Ice to ON restores power immediately.
Thanks...

Re: Fuel System // De-Ice System Issues
Regarding the fuel system, please read my reply in this thread:

De-ice functions in FSX and P3D are funky and totally unrealistic.
