P3Dv5 SUPPORT

Hi,
Over Time I have purchased Six MILVIZ aircraft, Do we have a date or an estimation in time that we can have support for our products to work in P3Dv5.
They all worked well in P3Dv4.5. But we move on.
I also have purchased MSFS2020, and hope that your support of new products for that Simulator will also be supported in a timely manner as they sort out the bugs with upgrades and updates?

But right now my main question is the support of products for P3DV5.
Do I mind paying an upgrade Fee? NO

T-38A is out for V5, KA350i is in public beta test. Other products are in progress. We don't typically give release dates, sorry.

I'll bump this since it's now 5 months later ... your C310R Redux was my favorite "goto" aircraft, would love to see it come back to life in P3D V5.x especially now that RealLight and TrueGlass are working correctly again in P3D V5.x.

Cheers, Rob.

It will get updated but we have to finish a couple other projects first. It will probably be out for 2020 before V5.

Huh? P3D v5 has been out for almost a year and still no 310R for P3D v5. Hopefully soon. I have both P3D v4.5 and v5.1 but would really like to be able to fly the C310R in v5.

It will be released for MSFS2020 before a P3DV5 upgrade is released. Sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear. :|

Hi Steve,

Will the MSFS version have full set of features available in the P3D version? I really enjoyed the P3D 4.x version, it was my goto Twin that I miss in P3D V5.

MSFS doesn't support a weather radar and no GTN 750 so I'm assuming those features will be not available in the MSFS version?

I understand your priorities, just a little disappointed.

Here are my memories of the C310R in P3D:

As of right now no GTN or WXR in MSFS but there will be lots of improvements over other simulators. The list is huge. I will see if I can get a feature list.

This is a great aircraft and I ran in on my test PC that has P3D 4.5. One thing I like about Milviz products is the documentation they have which really was very useful. I am hoping to see a version for P3D 5.2 HF 1 as it stands. I purchased this aircraft anyway even though my main platform is P3D 5.

Right now this aircraft does not work in flights more than a few minutes using P3D 5 with what I have. The installer did work for just the aircraft but I had to point it to the P3D 5 folder. I compared files and settings in P3D 4 with 5. P3D 5 starts with the C310 and I can take off. However after a few minutes the sim performance really drops to the point it hangs and dies. So I will still work with it and see how it goes. I have use the Carenado version of the C310 in P3D 5 but this one is much better. So I look forward to the P3D 5 version of the Milviz C310 when it comes. P3D 5.2 HF 1 is lightyears ahead of 4.5 in performance and the 2 aircrafts I have from Milziz (King Air and E180) seem to do better in version 5 than 4 from what I have seen. I use ChasePlane, SpadNext, FSUIPC and everything worked with the C310 in p3d 5, just need to keep it going longer in the air LOL

Like I said, if a version 5 never comes, I did not mind getting this aircraft because the documents alone were worth it. Being a developer I never mind supporting products that overall are pretty good here. As a note to future updates I would like to see more options in MVAMS like the King Air. I notice in P3D4.5 I always had to remove the blocks from the
wheels.

Update I did get it working although I would never recommend installing something that is not supported, but I did a lot of beta testing in the past and still so in some cases. I installed P3D 4.5 on my sim PC. Install the C310. It ran fine. Then installed on P3D 5. It working pretty well now but I am sure I will run into something. This is a really nice aircraft, well done guys

If you have both V4 and V5 installed I believe it will work ok BUT the MVAMS module hasn't been updated to work ONLY in V5 so the changes you make there may not take if you only have V5 indstalled. It requires some programming changes and I can't say if/when the 310 will get a V5 update. I will inquire.

That is exactly as I saw it. Also I had the King Air installed with P3D 5 so now MVAMS shows both the King Air and C310, I just choose which one to work with. I set the C310 to not start cold and dark as well as that option checked, both cases worked so I think it might be working. But as you said, a P3D stand along is a different story. It is a great aircraft. I have flown it in P3d 5 about 10 hours so far with no issues, but I did not install the WX option
