I purchased the 310 Redux for P3DV4, installed it or so I thought, but now the plane is not showing up in the vehicle listing. Tyhe Mnams program doesn't show any Milviz addons. help!!!!

Does your system meet the sim's requirements? YES
Did you temporarily disable your anti-virus program during the download process? YES
Before installing did you disable UAC. (User Account Control)? YES
Did you install, and are you running the sim as an admin? YES
Before running the sim did you make sure the FSX/P3D directory is off limits to any AV scanning? YES
Does your system have the required distributables? YES
Is your video card DX11 compatible? YES
If applicable, did you disable any FSX to P3D migration tools (like Estonia) before running the sim? YES
Are you using an aircraft other than a Milviz one as your default aircraft? YES
Have you installed in the root sim directory? YES
Do you have the appropriate SimConnect libraries installed? YES

Hi, sorry for your troubles. Did you run the installer as an admin? Were there any error logs or messages during the installation ?

Try rerunning the installer and pick the uninstall option, make sure the 310R folder is gone from Prepar3dV4/Simobjects/Aircraft/ folder, if there are any leftovers manually delete them. Also if you do not own any other MV products you could uninstall MVAMS from your windows control panel/add-remove programs.

Then try a clean install , make sure to right click the installer and run as admin.

I tried all of the suggestions in your support post, each individual point will be discussed:
Rerunning the installer : There were no 310r files in the P3dv4/Simobjects/Aircraft/folder before or after running the installer in admin mode.
Mvams : There were no entries in the Apps folder to uninstall.
My sales # : 0067931175
It is almost behaving like a P3D version 3 or an FSX file, if you could check to be sure I have the version P3DV4 file. I am not having any luck.

That does look like the newest version. DId you download it from this post?

If not , please try that download even though it is the same version. First run the installer and choose to uninstall so you get rid of any old files. Then right click it again and run as admin to do the clean install.

I downloaded the new installer from the link provided, no change. The mnams.jpg is my mnams file, the next .jpg is my p3dv4/simobjects/airplanes file.

Thanks for trying again. I'm going to ask the one of the developers to take a look at your problem.

We've had a similar issue like this previously if you had P3DV3 and this product installed on that, and then removed P3D prior to uninstalling the aircraft. Is this the situation for you?

I have something for you to try. I suspect the installer is not finding your P3DV4 installation.

When you run the installer DO NOT choose a simulator and hit Next>
On the next Page manually browse to your P3DV4 installation folder
Then click on install.

I tried the procedure outlined :
1. Executed the V4 installer in admin mode.
2.I left the simulator type blank, and the uninstall previous versions
unchecked - I checked the p3dv4/simobjects/airplanes file before
installation and found no 310r file.
3. Browsed to the p3dv4/simobjects/airplanes file for install.
4. Seemed to install correctly until I started p3d and found no Milviz 310
entry in the vehicles directory.
5. The only thing that changed was Mnams, it now has a 310 entry. I saved
the info displayed with the proper button.

I think everything is fine, I have not taken my first flight yet. The installer
put things in the wrong place and after figuring that out I was able to move
everything in the right place.

Slayer -
Everything works except I cannot save the state of mnams. I want to load the plane in a cold and dark state,
Mnams won't save the changes after i make them.

Can I download the Mnams from ORBX. Do you think that will help.

It won't hurt to try , that's what it is there for. Also make sure to run MVAMS as administrator or it may not save settings.

Edit: Be aware due to custom coding on this aircraft you cannot move it out of P3D directory or it will not work correctly (IE XML method)

I have to say that I am REALLY disappointed. The plane does not work the way it should according to the manuals. Nothing works that isn"t available in P3DV4. I feel like I just threw a bunch of money down the drain. Even the autopilot will not turn-on, the plane just keeps circling.Any help you guys could provide will be greatly appreciated. The Mnams software will not even save config. changes.

Did you install, and are you running, MVAMs as admin?

Hello , the autopilot needs to have the ap button depressed for a second continuously to initialize as in the RL unit , Cold and Dark requires the MVAMS can find the aircraft , I am not fully up on what that required but its a possible issue here with the write to cfg , can you change the selected nav unit?.
