Re: GTN 750 not clickable
Bill,
Have you tested the RXP gauges with the most recent version of the Garmin GTS trainer? The F1 gauge supports version 6.21.0 and the RXP version supports up to version 6.41.1.

May I ask why you’re asking this?

The center of the tiles appear to be dead spots. If I point my mouse pointer into the center of the tiles the pointer does not change and clicks do not work. If I move the pointer toward any corner of a tile I can see the pointer change shape and I can successfully click. See if that holds true for you with the F1 products.
I also have difficulty with the GTN tuning knobs. I can tune the COM frequency without popping up, but I cannot click on the inner knob to switch tuning from the COM side to the NAV side.
See above. I noticed that somebody actually tried to use the RXP version in the B310 Redux (which I fly fairly regularly) and Bill also said somewhere else that he had gotten the RXP version to work in the 310. I have both the F1 and the RXP versions of the gauges and trainers and I'd really like to remove the F1 version and the older GTN Trainer if possible. But I'm not about to experiment on my own and screw up a perfectly good working aircraft. Thanks.

Re: GTN 750 not clickable
Jay, I also use the RXP 750 and 650 in the 310 Redux with no issues. You WILL need Ryan B's gauge to get the buttons to work in the VC - see the RXP support forum for further details - I think you'll have to PM him for the files these days. Otherwise it's a simple case of using the RXP tool to "replace" the 750 and 650 it finds in the panel after you use MVAMS to configure the plane for the F1 units.
If you run into issues, just go to the RXP forums and I'm sure you'll find plenty of help. You can't really mess the 310 up, and you can always revert to the default setup if things don't go well.

Re: GTN 750 not clickable
Guys, I really don't understand the confusion. I quite deliberately set up the C310R Redux to make it as painless and seamless as humanly possible.
If you install the RXP GTN or GNS gauges and choose from the available RXP options via MVAMS...
...they will work! No drama, no additional steps to take, nada.
And yes, I have tested this personally, having had Jean-Luc supply me with the latest versions of his GTN and GNS gauges.

Bill,
My question was about which Garmin Trainer version you tested with the RXP gauges and the 310 Redux. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: GTN 750 not clickable
And my apologies for adding to the confusion - but now I'm confused.
I'm a couple of versions behind the latest - was direct support for the RXP GTN 650/750 added in a recent release? In the version I have installed only the RXP GNS's are directly supported.

Re: GTN 750 not clickable
Scott, you are correct. I misremembered what I had done. I'll rectify this in a future update. In the interim however, it wouldn't be that difficult to simply substitute the F1 GTN gauge entries with the RXP counterparts.

Re: GTN 750 not clickable
Thanks Bill. I'm glad I haven't totally lost it!
And as noted earlier - you're absolutely correct. It's quite simple to sub in the RXPs, and they work flawlessly for me.

Re: GTN 750 SUCCESS!!
Hello, was this installer ever released? I'm on v180510 and am having the same issue. After reading this I re-downloaded the installer but it's the same version.
Thanks

Re: GTN 750 not clickable
Sorry, I must be dense, but I don’t see a fix above in this thread ? I see a discussion that a fix was found, but no actual fix. Sorry if I’m missing something obvious, I’ve read through this thread several times. I’m using the F1 version of the GTN750.

Re: GTN 750 not clickable
What is not clickable for you? Just the buttons? Both buttons and touch screen? What tool did you use to configure the F1 GTN750 into the panel?
If you are using the 310 Redux the most recent version installer is I believe dated 6/16/18 and named "310R Redux Installer v3.1806136 SP3.7.exe" That filedate also coincides with the discussion above.
You mentioned you are trying with v180510.

Re: GTN 750 not clickable
Thanks, I looked in my account today and noticed I now have access to version 180904 so I'll give it a try tonight and see if that solves my issues.

Re: GTN 750 not clickable
After re-installing I'm unfortunately still having the same issue. When trying to click the touch screen, I have to press the touchscreen several times before it registers. After a while of doing this the unit just stops responding altogether, both touch screen and buttons. If I try popping out the 2D version after it freezes the screen is blank.
I installed the GTN750/650/wx combo using MVAMS.
It looks like a solution has been found:
