Re: RXP GNS
In the interest of trying not to throw gas on a fire... We're in the 310 Redux support forum in a topic called "RXP GNS". Context, gentlemen, context.JonathanBleeker wrote:I think the confusion lies in terms....530 can be MD-530 helicopter (Hence the no AP) or GNS 530.

Re: RXP GNS
Hi Scott,
not checked for a few days so did not see your post earlier. I've checked and changed both RXP ini and panel.cfg to match the entries. It was working fine for me then. Take special care of the numbering of the units like the mentioned GNS_530_1 both in panel and rxp file. But to be honest after the successful tests I tried to change back to GTN with the mvams and got stuck terribly with overlapping GTN and GNS units shown at the same time. In the end I had to uninstall all and manually delete remainig stuff in Appdata and registry. Plus the suboptimal graphics with the overlay for the RXP units forced me to jump back into the GTN 750/650 in the fresh install.
Cheers

Re: RXP GNS
Thorsten, the 'overlay' issue has gone away in the Service Pack. J-L finally got back to me with so that the buttons and knobs now work properly with embedded XML scripts. In addition, I've taken time to get the various panel.cfg files and .ini file properly configured.Thorsten42 wrote:Plus the suboptimal graphics with the overlay for the RXP units forced me to jump back into the GTN 750/650 in the fresh install.

Re: RXP GNS
Hey thats wonderful news indeed. I think the older GNS have some more charm in such a beauty than the newer touch GTNs. But thats probably more personal taste. Thanks for your exceptional work...

Re: RXP GNS
Tested in the SP and both F1 GTN and RXP GNS working fine (together with AP) out of the box. Graphics on the RXP GNS very nice.
Thanks again and Cheers

Re: RXP GNS
No worries! - I obviously hadn't checked back for a while either as I'd decided to wait on the SP. Then started playing again, because... Still haven't tried the pre-SP, SP but I did get the 750/650 working (RXP substituted for F1) with no issues so either way I'm a happy camper.Thorsten42 wrote:Hi Scott,
