I don't know if any of the developers read this forum, but indeed there is a color imbalance between the two parts as the alpha channel cannot be matched, the control surfaces have a different color now

they can, just take patience and minor adjustments

I can color match - the lack of an alpha channel will make it look different from the rest of the fuselage.

It takes some fiddling. Here is Jankees' repaint ZK-CLP modified [for my own use] with a pale blue wing, a very dark [5] alpha on the 'Beaver_ext_2' for the flap and elevator and a home-made 'Beaver_ext_2_specular.dds' - a file Milviz forgot to include. Simplest thing would be to take a blank white 'Beaver_ext_2.dds', remove the alpha and rename it to the specular file mentioned. The shine is still different because of the 'ext_2' being a different file structure than the 'ext', but it is reasonably close.

that is because you are using the alpha channel that comes with the template, which disables the reflections, I am for that skin using the alpha to create a metallic surface and that alpha channel is missing for the other surfaces.
