MILviz DHC-2 Beaver unusable all of a sudden
Hey all;
Not sure what has happened but now all of a sudden the Milviz Beaver has taken a nose dive. First thing I noticed was that all of a sudden the propeller lever does not move at all. Remapped the control using FSUIPC and nada.
Next thing is starting. I follow all of the procedures and besides getting no sound from either the wobble pump or the primer when I go to start using the start switch I get nothing but a click and the engine does not even cycle.
Now for the most frustrating problem within five minutes FSX:SE crashes to desktop everytime no matter what airport I fly out of. Most frustrating.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the latest version and no luck!

Hi Rick,
On the face of it, it sounds like some extra programming is not starting as it should.
Go through this post: How to fix most problems especially the bit about running as admin.
If you still have problems it might be a question of missing C+ redistributables: viewtopic.php?f=137&t=7680
or XMLTools: viewtopic.php?f=137&t=7628&start=10#p65970
let us know if these help!

Similar problem. Throttle that used to work with FSUIPC now does not. WxAdv gauge inop but it works in the 310.
dll's are fine
c++ redist are fine
not really concerned about the Wx Gauge - I have a workaround for that but the inop throttle is a PITA.

Just as a FYI - no matter how I load the Beaver (new) - when I exit P3D I get a crash report relating to FSUIPC5.dll. I tried loading it directly from the scenario screen and by loading the J3 Cub first and then switching. Every time I exit from Beaver - crash report. This did not happen with earlier version and doesn't happen with other a/c and I use FSUIPC to control all my sticks and rudder.

Happy New Year all.
ok, got the FSUIPC and prop pitch resoloved.
Deleted dll.xml, uninstalled and reinstalled the Beaver (twice) and everything cleared up.
Have no clue as to what was wrong but all appears to be fine now.
