WX radar weather and map missing

Hi all from Milviz

I Use FSX-A on a win7 machine.
I have searched this forum.
All the redistributables seem to be present.
I can move the knobs. Test functions well.
But I observe no return while flying through rain.
Nor do I see a map.
Sensitivity to auto, radar tilted up and down.
I hope somebody can help
I enclose the screenshot from the wx dll

Hi JB,

thanks for the reply.
I installed the new dll.
The radar now detects and displays the rain.
I havent tried the map overlay yet; will report back when done.

It seems I can't get the map overlay to work
Or is that not implemented in this version of the radar?

Map mode only increases the radar beam width so you would get a broader area covered. It still provides the same returns that you would get in WX mode. You have to move the tilt downwards to see terrain on the radar.
