Hey guys,

Latest version of beaver installed and I'm having problems. When I load up in beaver cold and dark I have sound for maybe 5 seconds then most of the sounds disappear leaving only flap sound and fuel pump. I go to try and start it and nothing happens. Been having this problem a while and my DHC-2 is unflyable because of it. Please help.

Please could you check if, while you have sound engine gauges (MP,Temp,etc) work and after sound quits those gauges stop working as well?

As I stated I cannot start the engine. So there's no way to check. If I set ready to fly instead of cold and dark the engine runs with sound. I've tried uninstall and reinstall no joy

Did you try Autostart? (CTRL-E) if not, please do it and tell us if engine starts and gauges show good data even without sound.

Ok Autostart does turn the plane on and have engine sounds but no oil/fuel pressure and oil temp reading. Shut the engine off and I have no sound of fuel manual pump etc etc so same problem

have you installed any other aircraft after the Beaver?
Did it start to happen after you installed v4.1? Worked ok on v4.0?

I had the 310 installed. No problems with it. I didnt have these issues in 4.0

Ok, tomorrow I'm installing v4.1 and will check. If the Beaver was working fine in v4.0 might indeed be a version issue.

This is going on in a clean install of p3d so the thread is irrelevant

Ok so can you check if XMLTools3D entry is present in DLL.XML file?

It is not present. Added it will report back

Same problem persists......
