WX Radar won't function

I just installed version 170808 of the Beaver (after uninstalling first) using the usual precautions (AV disabled, run as admin etc.). During the installation I selected to install the weather radar for FSX-A. I then installed the expansion pack. So far most things seem normal. However the weather radar remains dark and the knobs do not turn. I then tried renaming the old MV_WX.dll and installed the version posted by Jonathan on Monday 8/28. That did not fix the problem. My weather radar is still dead.

I need you to download this and put it in a temporary folder of your choice. http://www.dependencywalker.com/depends22_x86.zip

Once you start the Dependency Walker process, go to your Beaver's panel folder and drag the MV_WX.dll into Dependency Walker and drop it. Collapse all the menus as displayed in the outlined area in the below image.

Then post a screenshot so I can check for missing libs.

I will be able to do this later today. However, looking at your instructions I noticed that you wanted me to get that MV_WX.dll from the FSX Gauges folder. When I replaced the old MV_WX.dll with the one you posted I found and replaced that dll from a Panel folder, not the Gauges folder. Should I have tried the one you posed in the Gauges folder instead? I still have the original dll in the Panel folder, just renamed to make it inactive.

Ok you collapsed things a little too far...Need to see the MV_WX.dll bit uncollapsed. Must look like the picture I posted.

Hello, the instrument is turning on, knobs are working (range, elevation, gain), yet I don't see weather or terrain depicted

Everything looks ok but I would advise against using the wx in V4 at this time. There are some bad problems with it for some.

I also want to note that I still get the error when starting the flight, but the instrument works fine.
