Prop pitch and magneto switch problem
All of a sudden I have the problem, that decreasing rpm with prop pitch will move the lever in vc from full increase for about half its way down towards decrease rpm and then it will jump back to full increase position.
This is with all models of the MVBeaver only. All other aircraft work correctly.
I am using Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Qadrant and Fsuipc to assign and calibrate.
There is no difference in Fsuipc between e.g. the mixture data and prop pitch data, but lever behaviour in vc is different.
The prop pitch lever can however be moved correctly with the mouse.
Just observed that the Magneto selector switch cannot be switched to OFF position by right clicking, it ends at R position.
Thanks for information on any known remedy for the above.
Best regards
Ernst

Re: Prop pitch and magneto switch problem
To get the magneto to switch to the off position you need to use the middle mouse button.

Re: Prop pitch and magneto switch problem
Thank you Mr. Dirt! This was it! I remember now I've read in the manual, but forgot...
Anybody has a solution with the vc prop pitch lever which returns after half way down to full rpm?
The return movement is fast, darting back??
Thanks for any helpful hint

Hello Ernst , It may be that prop1 needs to be assigned in fsuipc and we are seeing a glitch in the interface .
Hope that helps .

Re: Prop pitch and magneto switch problem
I am also having the same prop pitch problem. I am using a CH Eclipse yoke and FSX. The pitch lever works with the mouse, but not with the yoke. I have checked it in FSUIPC and it operates smoothly and the pitch lever works as it is supposed to in all my other add-ons.
Other than that it is a great plane.

Propeller lever is mapped to both AXIS_PROPELLER_SET and AXIS_PROPELLER1_SET events. Please make sure that your yoke is using any of those.

Re: Prop pitch and magneto switch problem
Thanks for your help. On my setup propeller1 seems to work, but the propeller axis does not. I'll let you know when I am able to test it more extensively.
