Beaver Sound problem
Hi,
i just installed the new version of the beaver
MilViz_DHC-2_Beaver_170803 + expantiopack MilViz_DHC-2_Beaver_Expansion_Pack_170803
evetrhing seems to work well in exeption that by starting P3Dv4 and loading the beaver i always geth the error popups that says that the SND1.wav ... SND55.wav cant be found on
D:\Erik\Mijn documenten\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\MilViz_DHC-2_Beaver\SimObjects\Airplanes\DHC-2 Beaver Milviz\panel\MVSounds\SND1.wav....55.wav
wath seems correct because file MVSounds don't exist, the sound files are in
D:\Erik\Mijn documenten\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\MilViz_DHC-2_Beaver\SimObjects\Airplanes\DHC-2 Beaver Milviz\DHC-2_XML_Sounds
hope this can be resolved

Re: Beaver Sound problem
You can resolve it yourself by editing the panel.cfg entry for the sound gauge's path, changing the "MilvizSounds" to "DHC-2_XML_Sounds"...

Re: Beaver Sound problem
Hi,
thanks for the quick reply.
Unfortunetly i don't think the problem is there.
in the panel.cfg file i read
gauge07=..\panel\MV3DSound!MV3DS, 0,0,1,1,SimObjects\\Airplanes\\DHC-2 Beaver Milviz\\DHC-2_XML_Sounds#55
so that seems ok i think.
other solution??

Re: Beaver Sound problem
The directory that the MV installer would have installed in is the same as P3Dv4 , I see that the installed location is an addon directory on D drive , I recommend reinstalling inside the main simobjects directory on C drive, If not done the AMS will not operate to change panel types , nor will the panel files find their gauges .
Uninstall the d drive version manually, it will not be found by the uninstaller .
