There is a handle by the side of the seat and a valve and pump.

You should also read the manual.

yes the one with up and down signs. The black one is for flaps. Strange thing happens when i'm on the ice. If i put the small lever to up position aircraft moves up a little bit so the gear and skis are in the air. No visual change though. Skis are always up no matter what.

Yes I am having trouble lowering them.

At one time the gear was tilted up in the air on one wheel. After much pumping I managed to get both wheels on the ground and the skis up.

Now, like you, I can't get them down to the ground.

Cheers Chris

Same odd function here.
I never succeed to move the ski selector lever in a controlled manner.
With no release version.

In the rare cases were skis are (randomly?) lowered after many trials, the aircraft will change position, the way the right wheel will separate from ground something like 20-30cm and remain positioned askewed on 2 wheels only.
Returning to skis up position is repeating the random game.

The manual says something about the skis position "as shown by the needle on the indicator".
I only have a pressure indicator, not a skis position needle.
Does my Beaver model is missing something?

Defintely is a bug to me!

Regards
Ernst

Here is a reviewer who demonstrates this.

Hi Chris,

Great link to a video which exactly shows the problems I described!

Ski ops start around 29:00.
The video describes the ski operations as "wonky", but they just don't work in a safe and reproducible manner.
Watch after 47:30 when the Beaver is stuck on the glacier: left gear is stuck on ground, right gear is separated from ground, just what happens to me!

I hope Milviz will fix these non working ski functions soon.
