ADF radio is a pain to work!?

Post by Timmy74 » Sun Jun 18, 2017 10:18 am

Hello Chaps,

Will the ADF radio get a look into? I find that you can only scroll through the numbers one way!? So if you miss the frequency you are after....you have to scroll through the WHOLE lot again!?

Cheers,
Tim.

I haven't seen this documented anywhere but it appears to work for me:

The direction the frequency gets scrolled (up or down) isn't dependent on the direction of mouse scroll wheel movement like you'd expect; rather, it's dependent on the location of the mouse cursor as you scroll. If the freq dial is a clock, with your cursor around 11 o'clock, scrolling (either way) lowers the freq. Scrolling with the cursor at 1 o'clock raises it.

It's actually a pretty good idea to have it scroll in the direction of the mouse wheel.

I will see if we can do this... (no promises)

Thank you StearmanDriver. But mine does not work like yours!?! I have tried many, many, MANY....times but to no avail. The numbers only go down no matter what "o'clock" position I have the cursor positioned at.

Its very frustrating!!

Hopefully Krazycolin can work some magic....? Fingers crossed.
