Live Update in MVAMS 06/16
An update was just brought online for install via the MVAMS , it resolves a propeller lever assignment issue , a problem in cockpit sounds not working in some cases in p3d and it will check for VS2015 runtimes on the users machine and if not found ask to install it.
Note the water sounds are set up just as the default amphibians and are adjustable with the fs menu , I have actually heard them .
There is an icon on the desktop once the DHC2.exe has run for installing / uninstalling from further flight simulators , uninstalling is recommended to assure a clean installation
Our thanks for you observations ,they have been invaluable in producing the Update

Well, not happy at all. The uninstaller/installer deleted all the additional repaints that were installed before. Maybe MilViz nex time could warn people about this?.

So I run MVAMS, am notified of the update, choose to proceed and uninstall per the first post. Then, there is no desktop icon, to reinstall and I am left with no aircraft and nothing in MVAMS.Chuck Jodry wrote: There is an icon on the desktop once the DHC2.exe has run for installing / uninstalling from further flight simulators , uninstalling is recommended to assure a clean installation

So do I start over with 1.1.0.14 and NOT choose uninstall?

It didn't delete the paints, it replaced the aircraft.cfg. Back up the aircraft.cfg then copy the aircraft entries and paste them into the new .cfg.Edward54 wrote:Well, not happy at all. EdOh! Did you uninstall first, THEN, installed the update? If so, lesson learned eh?
Cheers, Ed
