Flaps and ailerons work in unison
That can't be right...Can it? But that's what I see. Sitting outside, I brought the flaps down and damn me if the ailerons didn't come down as well! The ailerons did work as ailerons should when I waggled my yoke.
Moving the flaps back up the ailerons went back up. What a mess!

That's how they work Ron , first 15 Degrees of flaps brings ailerons with them , we tried to represent every quirk and foible , there are a number of features of this aircraft that were not often seen elsewhere , the tailwheel castoring over its 40 * turn range I have not seen before , RT M its in there somewhere .

Well I'll be...
That IS weird.
I did wonder why no-one else picked up on it. Live and learn.
OK scrub that then.

Re: Flaps and ailerons work in unison
A little Google put me right.
Takeoff requires flaps. The designers refused to follow popular recommendations and dropped the ailerons when flaps deploy. These "flaperons" significantly improve the airplane's STOL capability. For takeoff, I lowered flaps to match aileron deflection with the yoke cranked over fully in one direction.
