RXP Avionics
Hello guys,
I am using the latest version of the Beaver and I must say, it's really wonderful. Solves most of the issues and is a joy to fly! I do have two 'bugs' to report. (I think it's appropriate putting them in their own thread, since they existed in the previous versions of the product as well.) For reference: am using FSX Acceleration and own both the RXP 430 and 530.
First, in the 'no gps' avionics pacage, the radios are displaying three digits after the decimal, and the third is cut off. I chimed in on this in another thread, but thought a picture might be helpful. Fr. Bill has said there should only be two digits after the decimal. Second, the night/light map for both RXP units is broken. They are fine during the day, but at night the static image from the $VC textures obscures the actual display. To clarify, the terrain display on the 530 in the image below is not the actual unit, it is the static image. You can see the gauge display faintly underneath. The mapping/texture problems on 430 you can see on the buttons, etc. During the day, turning on the cabin light also causes the mis-aligment to show in knob texture. All in all, though, it's a lovely effort from the team!

Re: RXP Avionics
I will need to look over these to double check their materials , I do know they had been working .
Re the decimal issue , we have not been able to isolate why some systems do this , all fonts and base cose has been triple checked and only a few have it , the developers cant replicate it and have tried repeatedly to do so without success.
I will get back to you gents with the results .

Re: RXP Avionics
Please back up your current RXP or F1 750 panel folder and place the contents of the zipfile in your base DHC2 , let me know if you have the issue resolved or not with this fileset
I could not duplicate the issue so I am guessing a checkbox wasn't checked during the install process .

Re: RXP Avionics
I thought the problem was related to GTN, but it seems to be a general problem

Re: RXP Avionics
I suspect that there was an install problem , did you select a WX type for your sim when you ran the installer ?
Your missing files it seems , try reinstalling with the FSXA wx selected

Perhaps a too high percent for text scale in windows display settings ?Chuck Jodry wrote:I will need to look over these to double check their materials , I do know they had been working .
