The Beaver and the weather radar
I bought the Beaver two days ago and I love it!!! Thank you for this aircraft, guys!
I ran into a problem when enabling the weather radar (through MVAMS).
When I launch P3D, I get this error "MV_WX.dll incompatible with this simulator"
I am running Prepar3D_v3_Academic_3.4.18.19475. Antivirus was disabled during download and install. Install was done with "run as administrator". And I always execute P3D with "run as administrator".
Any suggestions to help me fix this would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: The Beaver and the weather radar
When I turn it on, P3D crashes. I have tried it with P3D weather and Active Sky Next weather. Same result.

Re: The Beaver and the weather radar
I get the same message with FSX-SE, but the weather radar works in spite of the message.
Oh, I just noticed that there is another active thread regarding this issue...

The wx only works with P3D v3.4 latest update. It will not work with v4

Re: The Beaver and the weather radar
OK, I now have Prepar3D_v3_Academic_3.4.22.19868 installed. No more error message. But P3D still crashes when I turn the weather radar on.

Re: The Beaver and the weather radar
are you running estonia?
are you running av?
are you running as an admin?
Did you follow all of the suggested "fixes" as given to you by Osh?

Re: The Beaver and the weather radar
I never used Estonia
My AV is disabled
I always run as admin
I read all threads related to the radar and found nothing that could fix my problem. I seem to be the only one that has P3D crashing when I turn on the radar.
Thanks for all your efforts! I'll just enjoy my Beaver without the weather radar for now.

Please post the crash report so I can see which module is involved.

Re: The Beaver and the weather radar
Try unzipping this into the beaver panel folder where a MV_WX.dll is located.
