Re: Liveries & Paintkit
Good morning.
Can you clarify how each of the repaints gets installed?
I had installed the taupe N297B before the latest update and you provided a full aircraft.cfg file in order to add the texture. I only assume that the process would be the same for v1.170528 which means there was no change in the aircraft.cfg for the update.
The textures for the floats is just for that model only? The zip file contains the additional [fltsim.xx] entries for the new textures, yet you provided a full aircraft.cfg file as well.
Just want to make sure I know what I'm doing. Thanks for all you've done.

Re: Liveries & Paintkit
The floats is just for the float model and should be copied into that model folder. As there are no self installer for these, you have to copy the [fltsim.XX] entries into your float model aircraft.cfg file. Please remember to change the XX to the next number in sequence (probably 6/7/8/9/10...)WarHorse47 wrote:Good morning.

These are the liveries. All are floats, except the Milviz livery that is made for all models. Manual installation - that means copying entries to the model's aircraft.cfg. Remember to replace the XX with the next number in sequence.

Thanks Colin, but I'm really not sure what's broken.. If anything its a matter or coordinating how to add and retain new textures to the Beaver. With four separate aircraft folders it's taking a lot of time to retain and reinstall addon textures with each upgrade.Krazycolin wrote:We're working on a fix for the others...

Patience please.
We're working on a fix. Somehow, some way, the aircraft.cfg was borked in the last two installers.
We're TRYING to get it and the WX fixed right now.

Gunnar,
Thank you for the liveries. Your work is appreciated. They do work in all the variants, you just need to create a cfg entry.

Yes that's correct. I only created entries to all models for the Milviz livery.gregmorin wrote:Gunnar,

I will recommend removing the file "Beaver_Ext_Glass.dds" from all livery folders (if still present). This is a custom file for the windows texture, and it is not required any more (as we already have an excellent windows texture in the main texture folder

Nice edits of the N5CC and N9028. I also put tundra wheels on the N9028

BTW. An updated livery pack is now available as download from the product site (was sent and uploaded today). Smaller modifications and fixes have been done to these liveries. If you have already installed my liveries, you don't need to edit the cfg files.
Just replace the texture folders

Re: Liveries & Paintkit
Great set of liveries. Thank you
. N297B seems to be missing the Beaver_ext_float file. The floats do not match on the aircraft.
